My next charity fundraising event
I recently joined the Shelter Cymru housing charity with the successful “Ride to the Rugby” event. Myself, Geraint Aubrey, Rob Hosier and George Shirlaw all cycled from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with former Welsh rugby international Colin Charvis, to watch Wales v Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. We cycled over 200 miles over three days in adverse weather conditions to achieve our goal.
The next charity cycle is a 255-mile jaunt from Cardiff to Colchester in aid of the Magic Moments Charity. Magic Moments raise funds for terminally ill children to enjoy trips to Disneyland Paris. Last year the charity raised over £60,000.00 from a London to Brighton Cycle.
The cycle will be over three sections: Cardiff to Bath – 21st April, Bath to Clapham Common – 22nd April and Clapham Common to Colchester – 23rd April. We’re hoping to raise over £10,000 for the Magic Moments Charity.
Conveyancing Foundation supporters Lloyd Davies, Rob Hosier and Geraint Aubrey will be cycling the whole 255 miles, whilst I will be joining other members in the short 63 mile cycle from Cardiff to Bath.
